Bazzaz
Z-Fi TC Traction Control Function
The Z-Fi TC brings traction control technology
from the highest levels of professional racing
down to the average racer. The Z-Fi TC does
not require any additional sensors to be mounted
to the bike, and is fully legal in most race
classes world-wide (please check you race series
rules for eligibility before purchase).
Countless
hours of racetrack testing and tuning were used
to distill the complicated nature of this technology
into a simple and intuitive tuning interface
using the Z-Fi software. Traction control is
easily adjusted by Throttle Position, RPM, and
Gear to suit any track or riding condition.
Adjustments on the fly can be made with an optional
TC adjust switch, making tuning even more simple.

CONTROL "A GREAT IDEA"
"People don't realise how long traction
control has been around. Honda first used
it on the original Pan Euro in 1992, but it
fell under the radar. BMW then used a very
similar system on their tourers, and it was
a great idea.
It's designed to save you in the wet, icy
or oily conditions. Not necessarily at full
lean. It's a safety aid, and anything that
brings safety into motorcycling is a good
thing. Now that refined systems for sports
bikes are here - via Aprilia, Kawasaki, etc.
- it can be switched off by those who don't
want it. And it can be set for minimum
and maximum intrusion. It's built for any
rider of any experience. It's very beneficial,
for me, you and everybody else. The problem
is that bikers don't like change."

"The Bazzaz Traction Control is
mint, I love it and I'm not giving it
back!
...it's a decent insurance policy so
you don't ruin your no claims bonus."

"I like the idea of traction control,
a guardian angel waiting to catch me
should I overestimate my ability.
I
feel traction control systems I've used
in the past, particularly the BMW S1000RR
system, robbed me of control even in
its least intrusive setting. The Bazzaz
system feels different. In the middle
setting it was allowing me to back the
bike in a little and even improve my
corner exit acceleration...
I didn't have to wait until the bike
has settled in order for me to get on
the gas. I just nailed it and let it
dance."
